Lexan® Body Primer is a clear adhesion promoter specially designed for this very strong and flexible polycarbonate plastic.

The primer is a kind of glossy varnish, based on acrylic and specific polyurethane, which allows a guaranteed adhesion on Lexan®.

This exceptional adhesion is possible even without sanding. The primer offers superior adhesion to our special lexan paints (opaque or pearlescent range). It can be used to ensure maximum adhesion when painting the hulls of radio-controlled vehicles, especially those intended for racing.

The adhesion primer allows to protect the paint decorations inside the hulls and fairings, which undergo very strong constraints and aggressions: stone projection, torsion, heat, shocks and abrasion .…

With the primer for Lexan the paint becomes absolutely indissociable from the plastic.

The product is a water-based compound containing no more than 3% solvent.

It is a non dangerous and non harmful product.


In its liquid state it is whitish. When dry, it is transparent and shiny. For this reason it can be used as a varnish. Its resistance is exceptional, both to detergents and to abrasion.
