HRC101 Hikari RC Thinner 60ml

HRC101 acrylic thinner for our RC model paints is used to refine the texture of the paint.
Hikari RC paints are ready to use and normally do not need further thinning, however, in some cases it may be necessary to adjust and extend the paint to make it more fluid, especially when used with very fine airbrushes, in order to achieve details.

Using water is suitable for thinning acrylic paints, however the thinner allows a superior effect, greatly improving the hardening and allowing a better resistance of the paint.

The thinner also allows a better cohesion of the paint particles: these particles will weld together under the action of solvents.

In addition, the adhesion on any support will be superior if we use acrylic thinner.
The thinner is a water-based product that is non-flammable and non-harmful.

Hikari RC thinner is used in water-based paints with a ratio of 5 to 15%.

It is important to adjust the paint according to the temperature and the size of the nozzle : the objective is to obtain a paint with a perfect flow at the airbrush outlet. On the other hand, it is not recommended to exceed the proper dilution level because beyond that, the water-based paint will need more time to dry and will run.

Thinned mixtures can be stored, as the thinner does not "cook" the paint.
