Pearl-flakes are in a transparent binder and are applied as a mid-coat over a base, most often black.

Excellent coverage. 2 quarts is often enough material to paint a large vehicle.

4503 Hot Rod Sparkle Gold is a transparent pearl-flake which color-keys with any color making it a universal pearl-flake for the entire line.

Extra coats of clear is required to bridge over pearl-flakes.

Intended for application with a spray gun or large tip-sized airbrush.
